On Friday the 11th November the rugby family came together to remember those who paid the ultimate price in conflicts around the world.
At an annual ceremony held at the memorial gates of the former home of Bristol Rugby, now home to Bristol Rovers, poppy wreaths, and floral tributes were laid. The last post and reveille were played by a lone trumpeter and two minutes silence observed.
Peter Colston hung the first wreath on behalf of Bristol former players. Tributes were laid by Peter Williams on behalf of the GRFU Adrian Siddorn on behalf of the Bristol Combination and 23 Rugby clubs, local school children laid the last tribute.
